Another year has passed and it's Jim's birthday again.  I thought I'd go back and remember the good times we had this year.  Hey Jim!  Remember when we went to that bar....wait, you weren't there.  Oh yeah!!  How about that time at the Raptors game....no, not there either.  I got it!  The time when....that's right, you've been in San Fran this whole time.  I guess we have those days that we talk on msn.

So you might be asking yourself “who is Freema Agyeman?”  I would be too if someone mentioned her name to me.  But if you’re a fan of the wonderful world of Doctor Who, then you’ll know that Freema plays Martha Jones, the Doctor’s companion in season 3, a few episodes in season 4 and also appears in Torchwood season 2 (a spinoff series).

The reason Freema is on my list is because…well…there was just something about her and I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen when watching Doctor Who.  There’s not much I know about her past so I checked some fansites to find out a little about her past.  She’s got a BA Honours in Performing Arts and Drama and also went to Theatre school.  So from that you can obviously tell what she had in mind to pursue as a career.

Probably the coolest thing I found out about Freema was that she’s trained in basic martial arts!  She can kick my ass any day.  Oh yeah, she’s also trained in horse riding and has basic gymnastic skills.

Her first breakout role was in a tv soap called "Crossroads" and was later nominated for best newcomer and also sexiest female in what's on tv.  She made appearances in other shows after that and then she was given her role on Doctor Who.  Currently she's working on other BBC productions but I certainly hope she makes some more future appearances on Doctor Who or either of the spinoff series Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures.
