Remember when Marvel decided to get out there and kick some Capcom ass in Marvel vs. Capcom?  Then they wanted more and returned for Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter.  Since then, the Mortal Kombat peeps felt that they should rip the heads off of others so they've challenged the DC Universe...and they have accepted.

Coming soon on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe will make its debut but will it be good?  From what I've read, the MK creator dude Ed Boon says it'll be a Teen rating and not a Mature rating as normal.  The reason is because of the absence of the brutal fatalities we've all come to love in the series.  Apparently there will be some sort of fatality system but most likely a tamer one...like throwing a guy through a building would be my guess.

Regardless, it should be a good one to check out.  Confirmed characters so far from both parties are Scorpion & Sub-Zero from MK and Batman & Superman from DC.  Click here to check out the game which includes an interview with Ed Boon about the game plus a trailer for it.

This is just too cool - check out what this researcher's been able to do with the Wiimote.

The site actually has a ton of great lectures, check it out: www.ted.com

Thanks for the link, Vedran!

Here's something I came across just now.  Below is the fake movie poster for the Legend Of Zelda trailer.  Looks really good and much better than some older fake movie posters (remember Thundercats?).

Courtesy of April Fools Day yesterday comes this awesome trailer for a live-action version of the...wait for it...LEGENDARY video game epic Legend Of Zelda.  In the tradition of all other fake movie trailers in the past (classics like Batman: Dead End, Grayson and Justice League), this one continues the trend and looks pretty kick-ass.  Without wasting any more time, click right here and enjoy!

PS.  Bonus points for those who got the reference in the first sentence above.
