Remember me
I spent 2003's New Year's Eve in Niagara Falls.

There was a huge concert featuring Smashmouth and David Usher, but the biggest highlight of the night was a huge banner in the crowd that read:

"Happy 2005"

2005???!!!  Last time I checked, 2003 turns into 2004.

Take a look at the pics and see for yourself....

"Thank you Robbie, now keep the car under control while I take out my shotgun and shoot that m************r who just tried to run us off the road."

Okay, so I don't have a car.  But I used to drive so I've experienced lots of craziness on the roads and heard plenty of stories.

A friend almost got run off the highway yesterday for driving normally.  Keep your eyes peeled for a black BMW with the license plate ALYS 226.

Have you ever reached a point in your life where a decision needs to be made, a decision that's very scary to make and yet you have no information to base your decision on?

The question needs an answer - a simple 'yes' or 'no' is all it takes.  And yet it is never that simple.  Both answers lead to a myriad of possibilities and trying to peer into the future of either answer only clouds the issue.

You find yourself pondering the question, trying hard to weigh the pros and cons.  Doing nothing is an option, but the reality is that doing nothing is tantamount to saying 'no'.  Rather than sit back and be a spectator in your own life, you decide to act.

Take a deep breath.  Close your eyes.  Prepare for whatever the future holds.

...and say okay......

I've got tons and tons and tons of pictures from Maui so they won't all be blogged for awhile.

Lots of people have asked for pics, though, so I've posted some sneak preview photos.

That's gonna have to do til I get all of them ready...

Sunrise above the clouds... volcano hikes... mountain horse back rides... snorkelling with sea turtles... helicopter rides... whales jumping out of the ocean... swimming in a waterfall pond... loco moco for breakfast... fruits everywhere you look... waking up to the ocean surf...

I wanna go back!!!!

No posts for over a week?!?  Avid readers of jimtay.com (all two of you, one of which is myself) must be going through withdrawal!  ;)

It's been crazy busy lately - work is piling up with meetings cutting short my actual work time, but I've been mostly going nuts planning and packing for...  Maui!!

Maui Yep, I'm taking off this Friday for Maui for one full week.  Though Toronto's been unseasonably warm and actually sunny lately, I'm very much looking forward to blue skies, green water, and pure white beaches.

I can almost hear myself relaxing now....

ps. today's weather in Maui is 28 degrees celsius...

............aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh................
