I'm off to Mexico!

My next seven days are gonna be filled with Pina Coladas, sun, surf, Pina Coladas,  Inca (or Aztec) ruins, tequila shots, Pina Coladas, snorkelling, great food, Pina Coladas, heavy tanning, swim up bars, and Pina Coladas.

Jeff and Sonja's getting married, and there's EIGHTEEN of us heading down together!  It's gonna be one helluva party!!!

Popped into Chinatown yesterday to pick up some Vietnamese buns, and found out that they've increased a whopping 50% in price!!!

FIFTY PERCENT!!!

These puppies used to be only a dollar each - a $5 dollar bill would get me enough sandwiches for lunch, dinner, and a breakfast snack.

Now, $5 only gets me 3 sandwiches... barely enough for one meal and a snack.

This is a sad, sad day in in Jim's Life.

I don't know what it is, but there's just something so satisfying about reading a good rant.  It goes beyond mere entertainment, and nor is it a "yeah, yeah, I hate those people too" kind of thing - sometimes I am part of the target group but this doesn't lessen the enjoyment one bit.

A well-written rant is both funny and insightful, and the best rants invent new insults.  I appreciate the intelligence and wit that goes into writing a good rant.

So, without further ado, I give you a really good rant.
