Damn impressive...that's all I have to say about that!  Last night I caught a free screening for the Chronicles Of Riddick (arranged by Vin's boys for the crew of The Pacifier).  I thought Pitch Black was a great movie and was really looking forward to Riddick and I wasn't disappointed.

I don't want to give away any spoilers so I'll keep this nice and short.  From the first scene to the last there was non-stop action.  It never slows down.  Vin did a better job than I thought (he has a lot more lines than he did in Pitch Black) along with some really corny lines (typical).  My favourite line has to be when Riddick sniffs Thandie Newton's character as she walks around him...funny stuff.

The action scenes were incredible.  There's a scene with these two very CGI'd giant dogs that looked fake but what can you do.  You get some "too over the top!" action as well (expected) in a scene were Riddick and crew are trying to avoid the sun on this planet that will fry anyone to death.

All in all, this was quite the sci-fi flick and I think it will rock the box office universe.  And there's no doubt that they'll go ahead with the next to flicks for the Riddick trilogy (which was the plan in the first place).
