Pop.  Crackle, crackle.  Fizzzzzzz.

No, that's not the cereal I was eating this morning.  That's the sound I just heard from the big industrial light that sits above my cubicle.

Large amounts of smoke started puffing out of the light after the fizzing, followed by a terrible burning rubber smell.

So it's a bit smoky and there's the smell of burnt rubber at my desk now...  guess I wont' be having too many visitors today...

Tomorrow morning, I'm flying to Calgary and the Rocky Mountains for some hiking, biking, chilling, and relaxing.

Oh yeah, there'll be a wedding in the mountains, too.

I'm back from Mexico!  ...and I'm DAAAAARRRRRKKKKK....

Sun, surf, beach, boogie boards, Mayan ruins, beach volleyball, tacos, wave pool, swim up bar, floating on an innertube down the lazy river, snorkelling, "Heeeeeeeey, hey babyyyyyy!  Oooo!  Aaaa!  I waaaannaaaaaa knooooooow-oooohhhh-ooohhhh if you'll be my girl", good food every day and night, door games, pistolero tequila bottles, Happy Tree Friends, and a beautiful wedding to top it all off.


I'll post pics as soon as I sort through them (over 550!!), but in the meantime, it's back to the regular grind....
