Remember me

Happy in Canada
I was dreading the flight to Toronto - I thought Cam would be crying on the entire flight, especially during take off and landing, but it turned out to be not bad at all.  Cam took a couple catnaps and barely fussed at all.  He did cry during the landing, but a quick application of the boob quickly stopped the cries.  Our flights were paid by Sara's company as part of her relocation package so Cam ended up with his own seat - he's got his own Aeroplan card now!  What a luxury to have the space to lay him down during his naps, it's gotta be hard to have to hold him for an entire flight.

Cam's starting to smile a lot now - he was laughing his head off at his crazy fun Po-Po's entertaining martial arts antics.  :)

Cam is actually starting to sleep longer now.  When we visited my sister's home, he had his longest sleep ever at over four hours.  He's actually had several naps of 3+ hours - he's never slept longer than 2 and a half hours before.  Could it be that he's turning the corner regarding his sleeping habits?  He still has nights where he refuses to sleep but overall it feels like he's starting to sleep better.  Everyone says this is because he likes Canada better.  :)

It was a fun-filled first weekend in Toronto, and there's another three weeks to come!

First kiss
Sara and I are back in Toronto now, and every day brings in lots of new photos - I'm soooooo behind in posting shots.

Here's a quick post of pictures to catch up from a few events prior to flying into Toronto.  This set of photos include shots from Sara's cousins Henry and Karl's visit, Thanksgiving dinners at cousin John's and Brian/Sooji's, and also Haiden's first birthday party.  It was at this very party that Cam got his first kiss!  :)

Take a look at the pictures.
Sara and I flew back to Toronto and right into the worst winter snowstorm in Toronto in 60 years.  Ridiculous snowfall, crazy winds, tons of cars stuck in the snow, and we're stranded at my sister's house tonight.

Welcome to Canada, Cam.  Don't worry little guy, it's not just cold and windy and big stuffy suits.  When you get a little bigger, you and Daddy are going to have lots of fun in this snow!
