Remember me
Winston did an awesome job posting pics from a couple holiday parties; he's usually got em up within the next night!  Enjoy the pictures:

Linda & Ian's, Dec 20

Winston & Margaret's, Dec 22

Dinner @ Paradise Restaurant, Dec 23
I had these pics up for awhile now, just never had time to actually write about em... rather than wait any longer, I'll just link to the pics now so everyone can see.

The pictures include a fun hike we took with Brian, Sooji, and Haiden in Land's End down to Baker Beach, which is actually a nude beach.  Yes, we saw some stuff down there.  No I didn't take any pictures.  Anyways, Cam enjoyed his first real hike.  This was the last activity we had with Sooji before she gave birth, so she's extremely pregnant in the pics.  I can't believe she actually hiked along that trail carrying so much weight.

Also some pictures from a baby shower we threw for Sooji.  Lots of babies and toddlers all playing together, lots of fun.

Merry Christmas
AT&T baseball park, where the San Francisco Giants play, has a kids' play area that is open to the public on weekends and in the off season.  We took advantage of a nice warm November Sunday and explored the park.

We didn't put up a Christmas tree this year since we're visiting Toronto for the holidays, but we wanted to take family pictures in front of a Christmas tree, so we headed up to Union Square, where Macy's puts up a gigantic tree.  Yes it's a little ghetto, but we weren't the only family taking pictures there.  :)

Enjoy the pictures!

Update:
Added a few more pics from my birthday and a couple shots of Cam enjoying my new iPod touch. :)
I ended up taking a day off for my birthday, though not really out of choice.  Cam ran a very high fever on Monday night, so we decided that he shouldn't go to daycare and I stayed home with him all day.  At first I was thinking "uh oh, a lot of work is not getting done with this sick day" but in the end it turned into a blessing - I got to spend an entire with Cameron, just me and the little guy.  It was the best gift that I could have gotten.

...but running a very close second is the gift that Sara got me.  I finally got to open and boy was it worth the wait - an iPod Touch!!  It is soooo nice.  I've played with it at the Apple store, but they've got it tethered to the desk there (for obvious reasons) and its sheer awesomeness doesn't hit home until you, er, bring it home.

I also got a new laptop from my work on Monday: a brand new MacBook, one of those swank "engineered from a single block of aluminum" puppies.  Aluminum casing, LED screen, backlit keyboard, wicked glass touchpad, and fully tricked out with 4G of ram.  It feels so ridiculously luxurious.  I knew the LED screen was nice, but a side-by-side comparison with my old Macbook was night and day - it was like going from a standard definition tv to a HD tv.

New iPod touch, new MacBook, and a full day spent just me and the little guy.  Sara made me a great dinner and got a very nice cake.  Quite possibly the mostest perfectest birthday ever.
Sara ordered my birthday gift from Amazon, and it arrived last week.  She wrapped it up, put it in a gift bag, plopped it on the dining room table, and decreed that I am not allowed to open it until my birthday this week.  Argh!!!  It's been sitting there all through the weekend tantalizing me, teasing me!!  This is torture!!!
Mad World by Gary Jules.  Fantastic song, totally sets the mood for me when I'm working late into the night.

I watched the video for the first time today.  Pretty cool video, had to share.  Enjoy.
Some of you may recognize it from the Gears of War commercial... I originally thought it was an REM song but it turns out that it's actually a remake of an old Tears for Fears song.
